Sommerville School is a dedicated special education school supporting students with special educational needs between the ages of 5 and 21. Operating across 15 sites in the eastern suburbs of Auckland, Sommerville provides comprehensive educational support from their base school in Panmure, often referred to as the 'Mothership'.
The school runs satellite classes in 15 local primary, intermediate, and secondary schools, spanning from Glendowie through to Owairoa in Howick. This distributed model allows students to access specialised support whilst remaining connected to their local communities.
