Psychological Services
Child and Family Psychology Services is a group of experienced psychologists who specialise in working with children, adolescents and their families. Based in Merivale, Christchurch, they provide both in-person and remote consultations throughout Canterbury and beyond.
The team takes an inclusive and collaborative approach, working closely with families at every stage from assessment through to treatment. They use a range of evidence-based interventions proven to be appropriate and effective for young people and their families.
The practice contracts with Te Whatu Ora, Ministry of Justice, Oranga Tamariki, Victim Support, ACC and various other community agencies. In addition to clinical services, they also provide clinical supervision and professional development for other practitioners.
Their guiding philosophy, expressed in te reo MΔori, is "Nurture the child with love, strengthen the heart, and cultivate the mind," reflecting their holistic approach to child and family wellbeing.
