Acorn Neurodiversity is a not-for-profit organisation providing gold-standard, integrated multidisciplinary support for neurodivergent children and young people across TΔmaki Makaurau Auckland. Founded in 2018, Acorn offers coordinated, holistic care through a team of experienced clinicians committed to evidence-based, neuroaffirming practice.
Acorn works with neurodivergent children, young people, and their families navigating autism, ADHD, FASD, sensory processing differences, developmental delays, dyspraxia, giftedness, and language processing differences.
The team provides collaborative, cross-disciplinary support delivered in homes, schools, and purpose-designed centres. Their approach is strength-based and person-centred, prioritising self-advocacy and inclusion in schools and the community. Acorn's mission is to empower neurodivergent young people with the tools they need to reach their potential and participate fully in everyday life.
