Pertubuhan Kebajikan dan Penjagaan Kanak-Kanak Kurang Upaya Negeri Johor (Johor Disabled Children Charitable and Cares Organisation) is a residential care centre in Taman Johor Jaya, founded in 2017 by Mohd Yahya Haidrus, a wheelchair user with 27 years of experience in disability care.
The organisation provides a home for 20 children aged 4 to 18 with various disabilities including cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism, and hydrocephalus. Some children are placed by their parents whilst others have been abandoned and found refuge at the centre.
Beyond basic caregiving, the organisation focuses on holistic preparation for life, providing children with skills and opportunities to lead fulfilling lives and contribute meaningfully to society. The centre emphasises compassionate care, innovative support services, and educational opportunities in an inclusive environment.
The organisation aspires to be a beacon of transformative care, advocacy, and empowerment, envisioning an inclusive society where every disabled child in Johor thrives with dignity and boundless possibilities. They are registered with the Registry of Societies (ROS) and hold Care Centre Registration certification.
