Child Led Therapies is a specialist paediatric occupational therapy practice led by Emily, a highly qualified Senior Occupational Therapist with over 9 years of dedicated paediatric experience. The practice is committed to helping children achieve their fullest individual potential through evidence-based, child-centred interventions.
Emily holds First Class Honours in Occupational Therapy from the University of Queensland and has completed extensive post-graduate training in globally-regarded approaches. She is one of the few therapists trained in Ayres Sensory Integration (SIPT) through CLASI, representing the gold standard in sensory integration assessment and treatment. Additional certifications include the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding, DIR®/Floortime Model, Therapeutic Listening, Handwriting Without Tears, and the Cognitive Orientation to daily Occupational Performance (CO-OP Approach).
The practice specialises in supporting children with autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing difficulties, feeding challenges, and a range of developmental disabilities. Emily's experience spans early intervention for children under 5 through to school-aged children and adolescents.
